    day 30 denting?

Ginger's sneggs are hitting their 30th day tomorrow. I notice some denting on the ones in the center of the tub? is this anything to be concerned about or is this just normal? My humidity is not low..

If you're concerned just candle them real quick.. it should be pretty obvious if they're alive or not, shouldn't it?

Oh yeah, they are definately alive I think i will candle them after dark tonight. The room they're in doesn't have a closet or anywhere I could go in the dark, and I would fear moving them across the house into a closet.. so I have to wait.

My second clutch dented in really early on right around day 30. I remember thinking theres no way a snake can be in there b/c it looked like the tops were touching the bottoms of the egg.

Then again I mix the substrate very dry but they all hatched just fine. In fact tiny eggs hatched out pretty big babies. Maybe thats because on top of mixing the substrate dry I also slow cooked them like fine Kentucky BBQ.

Cool I caved in, and candled one of the eggs; it is nice and veiny. I am slow-cooking them too at 86.8 degrees. I figured, if we have a freak heat-wave and temps quicky go up in the house, it'd be better if the incubator went up to 88-89, than if it soared above 90.

Now it is weird.. I looked in today and the denting is minimal. Weird little buggers.
Me either, Laura! I am going to go nuts.
