Breeding
Ok, first off I'm not a breeder nor do I intend on breeding. I have read all the post I can and I'm intriqued on how the genetics of a snake work. Now for probably the easiest question out there to you born breeders and all the years of experience. If you have a male Normal breed to a female Normal, would there be any chance of having anything but a Normal? One of those charts that shows the possibilities would be great, as I think I know the answer and am starting to see how people can calulate the possibilities of a morph. If you wer to ask me what the back ground of the snake was, let's just say for argument sake both parents where also Normals.
Thanks in advance.

I'd say the chances would be 0%. Unless you hit a 1:100,000,000,000,000 chance that you have a male and a female het for the same recessive morph without knowing it.

Classic jungles aren't common ... I've produced one in about my last 500 hatchlings or so, and I'm breeding on a fairly large scale. For the average hobbyist breeding a normal ball python to a normal ball python, the offspring will be normal ball pythons.
Hope this helps.

Re: Breeding
Thanks everyone, that's what I was thinking, but was interesting to hear about the jungle morph, that's something new. Sorry for the simple question, I will try harder next time for a more difficult one.

Re: Breeding
Consider normals to be the baseline in your genetics squares.
That's easiest when figuring recessives and dominants and co-dominants.
