Do teeth grow back?

My friend got bitten by my ball python today and he pulled his finger out of its mouth. in his finger were two of my snakes teeth. does anybody know if bp teeth grow back? also does it hurt if their teeth are pulled out or if it is dangerous to their health?

Yes the grow back and I would imagine it would hurt to have teeth ripped out of your mouth. There is also a chance for infection if the teeth are pulled out. Watch for any problems. You may want to have the snake kept on newspaper for a little while.

yes the teeth grow back, it is not uncommon for teeth to be pulled out during a feed. just be careful that mouth rot doesn't occur. Look for gaping mouth, extra saliva, changes in amount of tongue flicking (whether excessive or lacking). Generally anything askew in the mouth region.
