    Arrow Dangers to UV?

    Hey all-

Is there any specific danger to having UV lighting with BPs? I've heard to much light can stress them out and also I have heard in some cases with corn snakes it's caused cataracts.

If use use a UV light to illuminate (say you got it for free somewhere) and kept it on a 12/12 light cycle would there be any danger?

All I know is BP's don't need it. Realistically, you're probably going into fairly uncharted territory and with that comes risk.

UV might be good for bearded dragons... but NO for bp's. A dark place is a preferred haunt for ball pythons.
