This is great to hear...how is the little boy doing getting any better?

Hard to say. I am going to bathe him later. He is very grimy looking. He is also extremely skinny. However, he is eating a ton and drinking so that is good news.

...On a personal note I have a pyrethin sprayer in my rat room that sprays a metered does of pyrethin every 15 mins. I have had this setup for several years and have been feeding these same rodents (that have been exposed to it) without incident (in both the rats nor my snakes and lizards). My rat room doubles as my garage and for the past several years I have never seen a live critter in it...I do have to sweep up dead spiders, ants, and such all the time but nothing alive. They have these same setups in restaurants it has been tested on humans, reptiles, rodents and other mammals and found to be safe (pyrethin that is not the "extras" that may have been added).

That is the link to the "flying insect kit" that I use in my garage/rat room.
I had a mite problem from one bag of petco aspen...Since I started using this spray (every 15 min) I have no mites or actually insects in general in there....

Got it in the mail today, and got it installed. I'm still treating manually, so hopefully a combination of the timed sprayer and manual treatment will eradicate the unwanted guests.

I got my Revolution in the mail (from Australia) in 5 days and dosed all my rats on Sunday. 3 days later they still seem to have occasional scratching but they are very much improved since the Revolution.
I just hope the scratching stops entirely. I have enough Revolution to dose the entire group again if necessary.
