    Question What to get?

I am intrested in getting my 1st BP and I just wanted to get some specific names of things to use. Also, What is better heat pad vs heat light. Is there a preferred brand or size for a 30g tank? I am real excited about getting a BP, I just want to get everything set up and the right temps before I actually buy one. Other thing, Pet store vs breeder? I appreciate any responses.

Getting the first is always exciting! But there is a sticky here. As for the question about heat, definately an undertank pad. Make sure you get a thermostat so that you don't make the same mistke I did. ;_; Thank god it was only a small burn.

    Re: What to get?

Woops I didn't answer the rest of your Q's LOL! Sorry. Anyways, Exoterra heat pads seem to be pretty good. As for petstore vs. breeder, DEFINATELY breeder! Petstores suck at keeping snakes. Especially petco. Unless you have a reptile store which breeds their snakes like I do. I'm in love with the chicago reptile house, lol.
