Arrow I am pleased to announce...

That my baby Spot ate his first meal! Well I hope....I put the live hopper in his tank and walked away. I came back a half hour later and it isn't in the tank any longer....I hope it's in my boy's belly.

Things are looking good. So now what do I do follow a weekly schedule feeding once a week or can I go ever 4 or 5 days?

Layna, congrats! It always feels good when they eat.

In regard to your question, how old is spot? If he's a hatchling, I usually feed twice a week, very small prey. I keep this up, slowing increasing the size, until they are about 600 or 700 grams. Then when they hit that period when they all seem to go off feed (500 - 800 grams) I switch to 1 time /week. Hope this helps. Good luck.

    Thanks Alice

I was getting worried no one saw my question, lol. Spot is a month and two weeks old. So I'll go twice a week for feeders with him. Again much thanks.

I am happy for you on the feeding. Now, tell my boy SoCo that eating is not a bad thing.. I wish that he would realize this..

Tell him if he eats on a regular basis I'll buy him whatever his little heart desires. I think I remember reading a thread on him, how much weight has he lost?
