    found this guy while out looking around a wet meadow.... Western terrestrial garter.... again.... he was eating this huge rodent bugger, not too sure yet what it was.

    Awesome; I have much garter love. We saw a few tiny ones this year but nothing major yet; they are awesome snakes.
