    Finished Product.

Here is my incubator. I am proud to say that I constructed it completely solo No man-help here, except for supply buying (I am isolated in hickville where I work and live, so..)
Here goes! I want to shoot out huge thank-yous to those who helped me here. Mainly, LordJackel, who finally got me to understand the meaning of bottles inside, etc.. but I had other advisors, and you know who you are

The temps are a tad low and I am bumping them up; but they Are finally the same (meaning, accurite in-tub and Helix probe out-of-tubs..)

Probe placement; I do need to buy a second ARite, but the boxes were the same when tested seperately and given a day or so each to level out.

This is one of the 2 egg boxes. Perlite under fluoro-light grid. Humidity 90 percent.

    The inner sanctum!

The whole enchilada. It looks funny but it works, kinda like a mule.

I adore and worship this Helix t-stat. Temps in its room have gone from 65 to 75 in the past week, and this thing is Dead-On. No changes due to outside room factors at all! I wanna start a new Helix-worshipping religion.
Now all's I need are eggs; hurry up, Ginger!

    Hi,

Nice job and glad to hear everyhting is nice and stable.

Now go make a spare top with a window in it for when the desire to peek 10 times an hour becomes too strong to resist.

    Re: Finished Product.

I would put some paper towels over the eggs just to be sure that the condensation doesn't drip onto the eggs. Looks good though!

    Looks good Gin!!

It's simple, but it will do the job.

The eggs will be fine. If you have the right amount of moisture in the bottom of the tub (which from the pics you do), the condensation will not really start until about two weeks before hatching.
Now get some eggs in there!! LOL!!

Wow...it looks great. Ginger should be proud to have her (soon to be laid) eggs hatched in there.

    Congratulations on a great job
