I have a pair in my indoor pond. They are not nearly as big as the one in the pics but they are growing fast. Mine are about a foot or so now. when I bought them about a year ago they were only about 5-6"s. They are just starting to get a little of their adult color.
John, what area of florida do you live in? I have been wanting to catch a big pair of pea:cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: and try to keep them alive so I could put them in my pond for a while. I am in Ocala though and I don't know how easy it to get a couple of ten pound fish all the way up here without it dieing. Do you know where the most northern area in FL that the pea:cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: can be caught is?
