    Re: butan yellowhead reticulated

Thank you guys, when we picked him up at this show, it was the first time I'd seen them in person, and they are really a sight to see with those eyes. They don't all have silver eyes and some have brighter or duller yellows, but that's obviously why we picked this one...

Well the butan's are newer locale that they have been importing, and this one was imported by bob clark last year...

I would not recommend them though for someone's first retic. He's really rather aggressive, and he's going to be a challenge to try to tame down, even just a little bit to where he'll be easier to deal with. But he is eating well, and that means he'll probably grow well...

And not only are these guys a little more aggressive, but they come from an island about 20 miles from mainland sulawesi, which are some of the largest reticulateds out there... So we're expecting this guy to get huge, even compared to our other retics...

Thumbs up Re: butan yellowhead reticulated

Unbelieveable. I've been looking for a nice yellowhead and this might be it. I would have liked to see orange eyes come with it, but silver will do I guess.

    Re: butan yellowhead reticulated

It is a close tie between yellow heads and tiger retics for my favorite. But then again, that black one that Kara showed a while back...MMMMMMMMM! Too bad they get so big, I would really like a yellowhead retic.
