    Yay! Our boy just ate!

    OK, I know this is nothing to get really excited about but Spike ate for the first time since we got him 2 weeks ago (he's about 6 months old). We tried feeding him a pre-killed fuzzy last weekend but he wanted nothing to do with it. So we tried again today and within a minute he struck. It was so cool to watch! Now I just have to find a better way to euthanize the feeders...

    Hi,

    Congratulations - it can be such a relief when they finally decide to eat.

    On the feeder question here are a few links that might help;

    Thanks for the links. I have been considering some sort of CO2 set-up but it doesn't seem very economical since we are only doing one fuzzy a week right now. We'd love to get him eating F/T but figured we'd wait until he is eating regularly before trying to make the switch.
