Those strophurus williamsi are absolutely adorable, and they're easier to handle than cresties? What is the care requirements for those little guys?

it will get about 3 inches or so long. small! right now it is in a small kritter keeper with some hides and egg crate to aid in shed and hold a little humidity (they often have trouble shedding as hatchlings/juvies). when it gets bigger i will move it to a 5 gallon tank with hides, corkbark and some (fake) plants.

thanks, right now the williamsi are my favorite--originally i was just going to get them, but it was a trade deal and i needed to choose something in addition to them to make it equal. i narrowed it down to either another juvie williamsi which was a possible male or the stenodactylus. since i don't need more than one male i decided to go for the steno. it is REALLY hard to pick the stenodactylus up (i feel like i'm just going to squish the poor thing)--i don't plan to handle it much at all until it at least doubles in size!

thanks! nephurus are awesome--you should totally get some! i got these from derek dunlop (d.d. reptiles). the williamsi were produced by derek wong.

waaay easier to handle! they are arboreal but they aren't jumpy at all. i had to help the male with a little shed the first day he arrived and he was just fine with me turning him all around and dabbing at him with a wet q-tip and everything. totally different from what a crested would be doing in that situation!
care is fairly easy--an arboreal type setup with vines, branches and corkbark to climb on and some hides, a shallow water dish and a basking area of 85-90 degrees. mist once a day or so feed small insects like crickets, mealworms and feeder roaches.
