A Very Special Announcement!!

Dear Members....

First off, let me say how deeply I appreciate each and every one of our staff! I can't imagine how difficult (impossible!) it would be to run this site without them. Their dedication to BP.net and their loyalty and dedication to the Staff Team will bring tears to my eyes if I think about it too long. They are all special and all amazing!!

Lately, we have all been keenly feeling Matt's (Smulkin's) absence. And to our great regret, his return to the fold is nowhere in sight. (Someday, though, or I'll kick his butt!!!) Raj (Iceman25) only has so many minutes in a day that he can dedicate to the site, and the bulk of those end up being the technical mojo behind the scenes. Which has left the overall management of the entire site squarely on my shoulders. A burden I gladly take on, but one that will surely burn me out if it continues at this pace for too much longer.

Raj came to me and suggested that we bring up two more Admins....and quite honestly, I could kick myself for not thinking of it sooner. When the original "Admin Council" took over BP.net, there were five of us...and the site was about 1/4 the size that it is now. So...to sum up...we need more admins!

And it is my great pleasure and privilege to inform you that Emily (mlededee) and Robin (rabernet) have both accepted that call. Between their current techincal understanding, and their ability to dedicate significant chunks of time to watching, helping, and managing...I'm sure they will be fit like the last two puzzle pieces! They are level headed ladies who enjoy working out problems and working through issues as a Team. And I'm confident they will always put the welfare of BP.net above any personal feelings they may have. As I know the entire staff would and does do on a daily basis.

So....without further ado....I give you two new Admins!

thank you all so much! i am SO honored! i've got some big shoes to fill...

matt's not really going anywhere, he's just waaaay busy right now. he WILL return at some point, if judy and i have to drag him kicking and screaming! (although i'm sure he would much rather have the time to spend here rather than being too busy in the first place!)
