    Definately don't leave the cat there. If they left it there with nothing then they're not fit to own it and if you can provide it with help, even if its only temporary, then I would suggest that you do so, Although if your situation dictates otherwise then you should just do whatever you feel is your best.     Well now the scoop is, we might get a kitten soon b/c his friend's cat is having some.. grrrr I hate when people let their animals breed like this. I think that a lively kitten would be better to introduce to Inky, because he can get aggressive with other cats, and a timid adult (or kitten for that matter) would be really tough on things around here.. we'll see how that goes, as the kittens are not born yet.
    I wish there were spay/neuter clinics on every street corner.
