    My bp and set up.

hey guys...learned a lot from here. But hopefully I can get some help/suggestions with my setup...
got 20L tank, 100w CHE, 75w redbulb(rightside), and a uth(just took it out bc i didnt want to burn him). underneath the top cover is aluminum tape and the CHE is on top of a metal screen.

Does everything look good. Still working on the right top cover and getting a proportional themostat/flexwatt(getting it this friday). Suggestions?

and the owner of this crib is...
    will have better pics soon.

Maybe some fake trees or somthing to make her feel a little more secure...Since she is in such a open tank security may be an issue, and may make it so shes a picky eater.

this just is my opinion and what i have experienced... am i wrong? anyone?

i agree balls do not like alot of open space, also fake plants and trees will help humidity with water drpplets on leaves.... thats what we got.. in our 2 breeder tanks....

My concern is that he really does need belly heat. Do you plan to get a thermostat so that you can replace one of the lights with the UTH?

The lights are going to make it very challenging to keep your humidity up all the time without constant misting, and when I used lights, I found Kashmire's skin to be rather dry, rather than supple like he is now with no lights providing heat.

I also agree that it looks a little open - so if you start to have feeding issues, you want to look at filling that tank up more, although the issues could be related to the lights as well.

it was sad...the pet store only had a 20L tank with a lamp, another ball and some aspen when I saw him. He better be happy now. lol.

Robin why do you say this? I don't believe in Africa Ball's get belly heat? As long as he provides a correct temp gradient and correct humidity(which he is) with a hot side (his is 90) his ball will digest just fine. Don't get me wrong I use UTH's in my racks and they are nice...but I also use RHP in my show tanks without any issues.

I am just curious why a Ball "really needs" belly heat?
