One last tweak that I need some help with

I need help with my UTH I put my probe on top of the aspen it reads 94F and when I lightly cover it it sats 95 then when i put it under the tank directly on the UTH 97. Then when I brush all of the aspen away so only the glass bottom is showing It reads 95. This is where everything goes wacko i peeled off the adhesive part on the probe (the thermometer is Accurite) and stick it to the bottom it says 107F. Which one of these are right?

I would say the closest to wherever your snake is slithering on. so level with the bedding. I am not however an expert, yet...lol but one of them will give you a definate answer.

Yes those temps are correct for where you placed the probe. Just remember the temp you are most interested in is the one where your snake is at.

Anything above 95 is dangerous for your snake to be on...it can get burnt.

Hi I'm mike and I am pretty much an expert. I've been in this biz for like 33 years. The correct temp you're looking foward to having in your cage is about 125 degrees under the bedding. Then you will start seeing a smile on youre snakes face-<

You're pretty much completely wrong.

Ball pythons will find their way down under the bedding, and, if it were to come into contact with a 125 surface, it WILL get burned.
