I'm not busting the bank at $200 a month, however it's what I've budgeted towards purchasing snakes after factoring in my expenses. If a deal can be struck, then I guess I'm looking at 10+ months of payments, if not then about 6-7 for a Mojave I want. One way or another at some point I'm going to have both in my collection, so it's just a matter of when and how.

I am just curious, how much are you thinking a male lesser is going to cost you this year?

somewhere between 2500-1500 depending on where you get it

People can speculate all they want, but nobody knows what the prices will be quite yet. Just like with Lessers, every year there will be someone trying to tank the market on a certain morphs and there will be plenty of deals to be made. Better that those things are kept in private.

I wonder who's going to "give it back to the people" this year?

That seems a little high to me. You can get a nice size 06 for that, but I hope they do hold their price like that. I bought my female lesser last year so this year I am looking her mate this year. I need a white snake that is actually white.

This is my female. She's about 1000g now

We'll just have to wait and see. They'll probably be whoring it up here by the time Daytona rolls around...

Before I get to deep into the BP.net world...I have a few generic questions. Will help me understand some of these threads.

When you have a co-dominant breed with a normal you get 50%Normal and 50%the co-dominant. Do the Normals have the gene..so if you breed them again you will get co-dominant variations?

    What does DUW mean?

What does 1.3 and 2.10 in the signatures mean?

And what exactly is a clutch?

Yes, but each egg has a 50% chance of being the co-dom morph and a 50% chance of being normal, not that you will get 50% - you COULD get all of the morph, or you could get all normals.

The normals are just normals - they do not carry the gene.

    Male.Female.Unknown

    1.3 - 1 male, 3 females
    2.10 - 2 males, 10 females
    1.1.1 - 1 male, 1 female, 1 undetermined sex

I am preparing myself for between 2k-2.5k But as I stated, I can only make such payments so if that draws the payment plan out for too long than I can get my mojave first and get my hands on a lesser down the road.
