I would have to agree. I wouldn't step one foot in that room, with all of the possible hiding places for an escapee.

Re: crazy guy with a gabby
Okay I'll admit I know next to nothing about managing or handling hots but a few things came to mind...
1) Like it's been said in this thread, how smart or safe is it to have hots loose in a room full of places to hide like that?
2) I didn't notice any locks on any of the hot enclosures.
3) When he was feeding the gaboon in the one video unless I'm mistaken he left the enclosure open and then turned his back fussing around getting that rat. Isn't that awfully dangerous behaviour with a hungry hot that has the biggest fangs out there (or so I've read)?
4) Is it normal to mess about so much with those hooks? He seemed to be having a hard time actually controlling those snakes.

I saw a glass door lock on the floor during the gabby stroll video, so it looks like he has locks...but yeah, I wouldn't allow any snake to stroll loose in that room, let alone a hot. His comment about having hots in plastic tubs in worrying tho...dude, not a good idea.
Pretty snakes, tho. =)
When Rick and I get a house, we hope to set up a snake room that is snake proof so that we can let one snake out at a time to get some supervised slither exercise...and maybe set up a "snake jungle gym" tree kind of thing. Snakey play time!

Well, he seems to know what he's doing. Other than being in a dirty room, everything looked pretty good, IMO. He also says "Sorry bout the dirty floor, I hope to move to a new facility soon," so I'm hoping it's just messy because he's in the process of packing stuff up.
