    Shedding Question?

    Ok so this weekend my family is having a party for easter. and all my family is gonna b there. but its out of town. my BP is in the blue eye stage. if i go ill be away from him for 2 and a half days. i really dont wanan do that cuznobody will be able to change his lightings and stuff. and the misting. its gonna b his first shed with me. im thinking of just staying home and just watch over him. but would it b ok to leave for the weekend jus in case?

    I'd go and enjoy your family. I'd mist before you leave, (if possible come have someone mist him while your gone) and mist when you get back. Maybe put a second water dish in if you need to boost the humidity. Worst case scenario is that you have to soak to remove any retained shed. No big deal.

    You could add a moist hide while you are gone. Something as simple as a box with wet paper towels. This would give him something to rub on and increase the humidity to help him shed.


    Also what is your normal humidity in the cage?
