    I'm just a tad excited

After much discussion, Jeff and I have decided to put a deposit down on this amazing girl:

    She is a Turkish Van
I couldn't be more excited, she will be so loved and cherished! It will still be a few weeks before she is ready to come home.

Oh she's gorgeous! I had a look at that link as I'd never heard of Turkish Van cats. Very pretty and quite unique. Congrats! Does she have a name yet?

Re: I'm just a tad excited

LOL, ya'll are cracking me up!

That would definitely the most expensive snake food EVER, so I think we'll just keep her around

No name yet, Jeff said that he gets to name her since I picked her from the available babies. I'm betting he'll pick a character name from a Pratchett book.

Vans are a LOT like MCoons in that they get large, have a quiet meow, and are extremely smart. I am a little worried about having two cats that can outsmart me. I'm already imagining the plots they will come up with! One major difference is that while they are long haired, they don't have an undercoat, so they rarely require grooming at all. Oh, and of course, they swim
