    Genetic Spotnose Imitation?

So I have this cute normal girl, she has these spots on either side of her nose. I know she's not a true spotnose because she doesn't have the one in the middle of her nose and there's no head pattern (she has some retained shed at the moment). Just wondering if anyone else has these on theirs? She hasn't bred yet but do you think these are possibly genetic, and if so, will they show up in the offspring or would the other parent have to have them too? I think they're cute. Thanks for any input

    Re: Genetic Spotnose Imitation?

Too cute! Thanks for sharing all of the lovely pictures. I'm glad to see they're fairly common, maybe with a little luck I'll come across a spotted male someday. I think it adds to their personality, maybe I'm just silly like that though

    Re: Genetic Spotnose Imitation?

I've heard people refer to them as 'booger balls' its just a marking I dont think its genetic. A lot of the babies i just got in (CH) have it:

    all 3 are different snakes

Geckos: 2.1.2 crested gecko, 0.0.1 leopard gecko

    Re: Genetic Spotnose Imitation?

Wow those first 2 have really nice, dark yellow markings. Don't know if it's partly the lighting or what. Wish they retained that color to adulthood, it's been a while since I've gotten a baby.
