weird locust
Found this guy in with the other normal coloured locusts today , stuck me as weird as this is first one ive seen this colour lol

was it small, because to me it only looks like a nymph. A nymph is a younger locust and sorta like metamorph amphibians they change a bit. it doesnt have wing yet which makes me think it is a nymph.

its about an inch long , all the others are the same size as this one, some were even alot smaller but all they were the normal yellow colour , only this dude is this colour

Could be a less common species, or genetic mutation like bps almost, if they lay eggs in high numbers some are bound to be a little "different" ya know? maybe ya got a new morph?? jk. def not like the ones around here.

There are litterly tens of thousands of species of locust and grasshoppers. Very good chance its a seperate species or just a youngin like said
