Anything that I have that doesn't sell, I'll hold onto until there is an interested buyer, not try to unload them for less. I guess that's just me.

in theroy that makes sense but when you have 06s on the shelf and 300-400 07s on the way sometimes you have to do what you have to do. when people have small #s and lots of space it is easier to keep / hold back / sit on more.

Why is that? There are just as many scammers and lowlifes on Kingsnake as anywhere else.

Tony, I would suggest buying from the good people in the industry. Adam. RDR, PKR, NERD, VPI, etc. Quite often, when you buy cheap, you get cheap. Best of luck!

And only a handful of quality breeders (BHB, NERD for example) will have that volume of '07's on the way, and most of them have the space to hold onto the '06's. It's their livilihood, I don't believe that they care to contribute to de-valuing their stock.

If someone is churning out ball pythons "puppy mill" style and selling them for less than market value just to clear space, then I can't believe that they did much selective breeding and wouldn't be someone I'd want to purchase from anyway.

Jamie and Robin you hit the nail right on the heard. Also just because a bunch of breeders will have 07 babies soon, does not mean they will be cheaper. I think most will hold their value.

As the devaluing of the market continues....

Its sad that some people relish it just so they can get a deal.

I would love to know who Matt considers a "good breeder"

Re: WTB lesser male or female

If you can get the pair, go for it...if not, go with what will help you in the future....If you want some lucys, get a female, if you want some crosses, get a male....

Last yr I was looking for a spider male and wound up with a spider female at the show instead....Of course I wound up picking up a male later on, but quality is what i'm always looking for regardless of the sex...I know I can fit them into my projects....

    Look for quality
