Two big, fun announcements!!

FIRST -- A new contest to add to our two beloved BPOM and HOTM contests! This one will be called Photo of the Month and will have a different theme each month. All current contest rules (see link above) apply unless stated otherwise in the monthly theme.

The new contest opens as of today so we can vote on a March winner at the end of the month. March's theme is PETS! Post pictures of your pets (not to include any animals already involved in our other two contests). These must be pets that YOU currently own and pictures that YOU have taken. Again, please review the rules listed in the link above. Winners' pictures will be displayed in the left-hand column of the Forums Index.

SECOND -- Prizes!!! This announcement applies to our March contests ONLY.

Our dear, beloved Kara (KLG) has generously donated prizes for all three of March's contests! Each winner will recieve one of her new Spider posters!!

Due to the inclusion of actual, physical prizes this month, I will be a stickler for enforcing the rules...so please, please take the time to review them to be sure your picture has a chance to be included and win!

IF you have already submitted pictures...please be patient because they go into a queue for approval before they show up in the contest albums. You do not need to repeatedly submit the image. If you're not sure if your image has been properly submitted, feel free to send me a PM and I can check on it. All images are usually validated within a few days of submission or a PM sent to the member explaining why their picture was not.

Feel free to ask questions here in this thread and I'll do my best to answer...or send PM's if you wish.

Judy...when we submit a photo what category does it go under? I just went to submit a photo and there are three categories...hotm, bpom and member gallery???

If you click on the submission link for a given contest...it should have the category already selected for you. If not...you should see a drop-down menu option...and just select the category that fits.

If you select "member gallery" the image will just go into your own gallery.
