    Mites!

    well I just discovered that My girl has mites, she is a 600g ball python. what steps and precautions do I need to make, I know I need Preventamite. I was just wondering if someone could give me detailed instructions on waht to do, I have to do this to two tanks. Thanks!

    By the way the temps are perfecto and so is the humidity(56%) warm (90-94) cold (79-83) Thanks again.

    sometimes if you soak your bp for a while in a tub of warmish water, that helps gets some (not all) off. it will help though.

    Yes Christina mites do drown... but water will not kill or get rid of the eggs that have been laid on the snake. You will just have the same problem again once they hatch, mate, lay eggs. Use PAM as directed and it wipes out everything with mites, ticks, other little bugs.
