With the two options of tubs in this rack what sized snakes could each tub option handle?

my adult males are in 32 qt tubs! they do very well in them.

the 15 qt are good for babies/juvies up to around 600 grams or so, imo.

balls do very well in small spaces, here's one at 300 grams in a 6 qt tub. i moved him up shortly after this pic was taken.

tubs look like cake to keep a snake in, my tank has trees and logs and lamps and bedding......all that has is a bowl of water?

In an open tank you need hides and whatnot. In a rack you don't need them because essentially, the whole thing is a hide.

    Vaughn,

How does thermoregulating work in a tub that size, seems like he wouldn't have room for a cool side?

    Also,

What size tubs do you keep your 800g+ females before moving them into something like a cb-70?

    Thanks,

    Rich

But literally RTBs dont need hides.. they are found in low under brush, and tree branches of the Amazons... not like a ball python who are spending 90% of their time inside enclosed cavities and termite mounds. But I guess for a baby, its ok to keep in a tub, but I say nothing smaller than a 25qt.

For a baby? Six quart is perfect for a baby, I use 15 quart for babies and young juvies.
