Start a thread topic like usual...but before you hit the "submit" button...scroll down a bit and you'll see some options you can select. One of those is "Yes, make this a poll"...and a little box that you can input how many options you want your poll to have.
Click the poll selection...and then hit the submit button...a new window will pop up in which you can input your poll question and answers. Then hit "submit" again.
