    Ice cream is ALWAYS a good idea with hot pie! LOL I had a black/raspberry pie turn into a berry cobbler once. It's all still good!

    we ended up having some vanilla with the pie and OMGoddess was it ever good pie! kara you are amazing... that recipe totally rocks!

    everyone loved it and i am so darned proud of myself... *singing* i baked a pie and it didn't suck.....

    Glad they turned out so well! They certainly look like prize winning pies! I've never mastered a decent pie crust so I always have to buy a really good quality frozen one. I can do the filling so fine but it's embarrassing when folks need a steak knife to get through the shell or just leave it there, all naked and emptied of the insides LOL. I'll have to bug Kara for tips on yummy pie shells that don't crack your molars.
