Question Need help freezing fresh veggies, greens...!

I can't seem to find much information on this...I tend to buy reptile food in bulk, and freeze. This is fine when it comes to mice. However, after a long (and i mean 2-year-long) decision, I've decided to add an iguana to my collection, and this means lots of fresh greens, vegetables, fruits.

How would one go about freezing mixtures of fresh foods WITHOUT harming the basic nutritional content, etc?

Would it be best to just buy fresh every week? I personally do not enjoy grocery shopping, as this is a small town and stores are particularly crowded. I like to go once a month, but if fresh weekly would be best, I am willing to make that sacrifice, as scary as it will be for me, haha!

    Thank you in advance!

i'm not really sure about the freezing but check this site out: http://www.reptileeats.com/Iguana.html. i found them recently and now purchase fresh food from them for my tortoise. he LOVES the mix they make. i just got him the beginning of the year and was feeding him various greens from the grocery store and he just didn't seem that excited about it. i ordered some of the tortoise mix from reptile eats and as i dropped the first few bits of it into his dish he RAN from across the cage to come eat it. must be some good stuff!

you can get a subscription where they send a certain amount every 2 weeks and save a little on the cost. well worth it to know your iggy is getting great quality fresh food and that you then don't have to visit the grocery store and try to find a good enough mix every week.
