    Provent a mite question

    I sprayed my snakes tubs with provent a mite last night let it dry and put them back in. Today i took my snakes out and they still have mites. How long does this take to work?

    Ah cool when i took them out they were crawling all over my hands lol. So normaly it takes more then just 24 hours to work? No need to soak my snakes or anything like that?

    wow that's a lot of mites! :eek: i would definitely soak them... in some water with a tiny bit of soap added to aid them cause i would want those suckers dead quick!

    Tony, it would be a good idea to soak your BP's in warm water with 1 drop of dish detergent for about 10 minutes every day, that will kill alot of mites, that way and will speed along the process. you will do just fine with the proventamite!

    hey ed... it took you 11 minutes to type that LOL

    you put them into a bucket with water and the soap. make sure the water just covers them but they don't have to hold their head above water.

    Soak them in a rubbermaid sweater box with about 2 1/2 - 3 inches of warm water, just pull them out before the water cools down!


    Thats jersey style, if you want to go canadien style use buckets! thats good also. just say EH when you talk. HAHAHA
