Re: Carpet questions
personally i think coastals are the nicest carpets (but i'm a little biased considering that 80% of the snakes i currently own are coastals).
i'd recommend a quality 'normal' sib from the jag line myself. i'll post some pics this week of my humble collection if that'll help - you should be able to see the diversity of color and patterns available... most of the normal sibs are great quality but the price is not too outrageous.

Re: Carpet questions
I've been thinking about my next snake for a while too, and i've pretty much come to the decision that its going to be a jungle carpet...I don't know why for sure, I just really like them.

Re: Carpet questions
there are several breeders with very nice carpets... if i were you i'd wait till this spring/summer when everyone's 07's hatch out. i listed all the people i've gotten my carpets from on the post i put up; i'd also highly recommend australian addiction from what i've seen and heard.

Re: Carpet questions
Thats what I think i'm going to do, unless I happen to find a good one at the show i'm going to in a couple months.
I'm sure you'll catch me posting about wanting one when i'm ready. I'm actually doing some research and I want to build some really cool custom cages first. I'll post pics of the process when I start...

Re: Carpet questions
I have some pure VPI line jungles and coastals from the 06 season still available on my website, if you are interested.

Re: Carpet questions
We also have been holding back some nice '06 jungles to see how they will color up, and will more than likely be selling a few of them once things warm up and if you are interested let us know so that we can contact you when they are available because I am pretty sure they will go fairly quick. But looking around and talking to people is for sure the best way to get yourself prepared for a good purchase that you will be happy about over the long term. Plus, that way you get to know other morelia addicts and that is always enjoyable as well. Anyway, good luck with the hunt and for sure ask any more questions if you have any, there are quite a few morelia people on here to help you out.

You don't think there is one in the states yet? I know I haven't heard anything announced, but I have a hard time believing that someone hasn't picked one up yet. But then again...maybe no one has yet. I sure am excited for them once they do get over here. Such a cool morph!!!
