Re: Got Dogs?
Heres our three lovable labradoodles.
This is Sophie, she decided to cool off in the tub after playing in the mud.
This is Duke, Sophie's brother.
And finally this is my baby Vinnie. He wasn't to happy about me spiking his hair.

Re: Got Dogs?
This pretty much sums up how we do things around here:
The above image is also proof that that yes...Jack Russel's can be calm every once and a while. Her name is S'mores and she is my wife's dog all the way...I will absolutely not admit that I to love her to death...most of the time. I came up with her name and initially it was because of her brown and white colors and my wife loves the camping treat s'mores. The name can also be interpreted as a relation to the amount of energy she has. She enjoys sitting in my lap while I work away on the computer at night...or staring down african rats in their tubs, when she's not doing either of things she has an unstoppable addiction to playing fetch.
The hound in my lap is Sadie. This pic doesn't really capture her true red coat, but she is a beautiful dog. She is a Redbone Coon hound we adopted from the county animal control shelter. Sadie is a typical hound and when in the house is usually overcome by a trance that causes her to sleep all the time LOL She is considered my dog but can be found on the couch with snuggling my wife the evenings she buries herself in a book.
We've had S'mores almost 3yrs (had since a pup) and we think Sadie is around 6+yrs (had her for about 5yrs).

Re: Got Dogs?
Well since we are now a two dog family I guess I should update my doggie pics. Just snapped this one this morning - amazing what holding a piece of bologna in my hand will do to get two very active big pups to settle down and sit nicely for a picture LOL.
The brown and white pup is Gunnar, the female, who is about 10 months old, a boxer/labrador cross that we adopted from our local Dog Warden. The white pup is Tank, the male, who is likely about 6 months old, a pit cross of some sort (maybe lab, maybe shepherd...who knows), who I found recently roaming on the street during a severe cold snap so he came home to us.
See us sit nicely for treats!
Gunnar giving me her snooty princess face..."she isn't giving me my treat...I shall not look at her!" Tanks still hopeful that his share of the bologna is heading his way soon LOL (and of course it did)
Their normal activity for hours every day....play, wrestle, knock stuff over, play some more, puppy growl menacingly at each other, then finally...run for a drink and fall over exhausted for nap time.

They both looks awesome, Jo! Gunnar is so pretty, and Tank looks very happy in his new home!
