    question

Does anyone's snake poo in their hide?

we have one that does, she poos in her hide almost all the time & the bad thing is there's a lip on the inside of it & that's where she leaves it, on the lip

at first it was hard to find, definately hard to clean

    Re: question

My snake poops in one hide and pee's in the other. He stays away from the pee

hide when it is dirty but will stay in the poo hide. I check daily to make sure
both are clean but I think that is the weirdest thing I have ever noticed.

    Re: question

Yeah mine has pooped in the hide quite a bit, although he tends to leave it by his climbing branch jungle gym and the turds tend to blend in. I can usually smell it before I find it and then the search is on!

    Re: question

Our yearlings have a hide with a lip on the outside and they seem to just love to pee and poop in there just to make the job cleaning up harder I think.

At least you guys aren't complaining about a "smearer". I've got one certain het hypo male that likes to smear his feces all OVER his enclosure. I was warned before he joined me that he was a staff favorite! LOL
