Purgatori! If I were a character, I would so be her.
I used to love Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, but my ex stole all of my books, so it just makes me think of him, which leads to digestive upset.

Re: Best Comic Book Character?
The Punisher first and foremost. Always loved Frank Castle. He just had a great appearance in the last issue of Spider-man- Spider-man was being beaten to death by two villains when the punisher kills both with a sniper rifle, then carries spider-man on his back to get medical attention. Yeah i'm such a comic book nerd i have to have almost every Marvel book that comes out.

Re: Best Comic Book Character?
As well as Schlyne, I liked the X-men... But as she stated, that's a team and I suppose it wouldn't count. So if I had to pick one, I always had some strange fascination with The Phoenix. Maybe it's because I always liked Firebirds and T/A's, but that "Flaming Chicken" logo as it's been affectionately called was always sweet. But in case you couldn't pick it out in all the rambling, I decided on The Phoenix.

You're standing in the pet store checkout line with your purchase in hand & the person behind you says "Oh, they're so cute! Do they make good pets?" and you reply, "These? Hmmm. Actually, I have no idea...I never thought about that..."

Re: Best Comic Book Character?
My avatar says it all.....even named my BP after him.
X-Men are a group, but they are all individual characters in my mind, so I didn't group them as one.
The Tick was an awesome character too.

Re: Best Comic Book Character?
LOL.....I love comic books......just a regular nerd at heart I guess
......been reading some over-seas stuff lately.....Bleach, Naruto, Rurouni Kenshin ..It is great that most are available free online.....so you can read the first few chapters....figure out if you like it....then just read everything up til' the current issues.
....I would rather read comics than a book anyday.....LOL......more than 15 minutes of reading and I am sleeping
