chosing a tanantula????????????????

i am not sure what type of tarantula i should get ??????????
here are some that i think would be good for me but please could you make suggestions

brazilian salmon pink birdeater

chile rose tarantula

and the curly hair tarantula

Well, I have all three, and they are all interesting in there own way. I personally would choose the Curly hair. I have a big female and she is really stunning. They are more even tempered than the other two, and though I don't handle mine much, for their safety, she is a gentle T! Here she is.

The curly-hair or the Chilean rose would probably be your best choices as first one. The lasiodora parahybana (salmon pink birdeater) gets huge (9 or more inches they say), and thinks anything in the enclosure, including fingers, is food, from what I am told. If you do your reasearch, and have no intention of handling, the parahybana would be o.k. too.

Out of what you listed, I'd probably go for the curlyhair. My T collection really consists of T's that are either bright and colorful or are unusual in some other way (I have one adult T that is aprox 1.25" as an adult, for example).

The brazilian salmon pink birdeater can have fairly irritating hairs compared to the other two, although all of the T's you've listed will have urticating hairs.

Are you planning on trying to house it with other animals as you have asked in other threads?

Lasidora parahybana is not the best choice of tarantula for beginners.
Grammostols rosea are a good beginner's tarantula, as are Brachypelma albopilosum
