Around $90-150 depending on how nice the coloring is, and babies are often nippy, but most will settle down as they age. My female (around a year and a half old) is very docile, but my baby male is a little nipper.

This is about jungle carpets.. there are many kinds of carpet python, but jungles are the most common and very popular.

I think I paid around $200 for my Jungle Carpet. This was for a year old healthy female with nice coloring. Mine was nippy for about a month after I got her, but has tamed down. I still use a hook to distract her head until I get a hold of her. I've never seen a snake with a stronger feeding response.

I have seen breeders price ranges go between $125 all the way up to $450 for pure cheynei. Most are probably $250 or less. Coastal and cheynei crosses are about $125 everywhere. I have 4 '06 from breeders directly and 2 never nippy, 1 nippy still, 1 nipped first week now settled in nicely. Use a snake hook and handle them with letting them move around almost constantly and don't allow them to muster up tension for a strike.
IJ's and Coastals are running a little cheaper max probably $350 but most $150-$250 that I have seen.
Breeders will price them according to their appearance with what they think they can get for them. So, within a clutch there might be a range +- $100 for males and same for females with females higher.
