it's feeding time tonight`
well we picked dominique up on sunda from steel city exotics,
she only 3 months old, and breder said to wait 3-4 days tonight its been 4 so gonna give it a shot,
feeding her f/t i got another container to put her in and some tongs to dangle the lil rat...i dont wanna feed her in her tank
no if she dosnt take the rat right away should i just lay the rat inside? and let her alone with it for a bit
or just keep dangeling it?

Make sure to thaw the rat out and to warm it up a bit before offering. (that is what she has previously taken, correct?) You can try feeding her in a separate container, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will work for her. I'm going to guess that you heard that feeding in the enclosure will cause aggression, but that is truly just a myth. If that were the case she would associate you opening her cage to take her out, to signal feeding. I feed all of mine in their enclosure, and have not experienced this to be the case. (I also started out feeding in a separate cage)
I would ask your breeder how food was offered and try to replicate that. Otherwise I usually offer the prey item (not live) on tongs, and gently sway from side to side. Typically if they are going to grab it, it will happen in the first minute or two. If they don't grab it, then I leave it in their enclosure. If it's still there in the morning then I toss it and try again next week.
Good luck with your feeding.
