I like the statue....but it doesn't say "pets" to me. For that matter...I think the picture of the frogs is really cool, too...but it doesn't seem to quite fit a "pet" themed magazine issue. That's just my personal take on it, though.

the intent of the magazine is to twist, pull, bend and draw out a theme from the cover and from the articles. after all, 10 articles on "i love my dog" would make for some pretty boring reading if you look at the archive page here you can see all the images and the themes... being "obvious" isn't really what i do with the magazine,... even the headings for the columns are a 'tongue-in-cheek' type of thing - Lifetalks for the animal communicator's column, Technically Tarot for the tarot column because she doesn't read cards... she studies the history and sells them so she's more technical than intuitional... you get the idea i'm sure.

sorry, i think i went into teacher mode again. your english teacher is now leaving the room, feel free to have your own thoughts again LOL

Duh, thanks. I love the horse the eyes and background are spectacular almost majestic. Good Luck! You have some great pics to choose from. The frogs and kitties are tied for second for me.
