    Fatty?

I picked up this female 2 months ago. She eats every meal i put in front of her, which is a small rat each week. she is an excellent feeder..but i'm wondering if that's a bad thing.

Is this the tail of an overweight snake?

(I have no idea if she's "overweight" but that sure is a funny picture!)

    Re: Fatty?

yeah she is a big girl. i just weighed her today and she is well over 2000 grams. Hopefully i can get a nice litter out of her this year...maybe 30 or so.

anyway, i'm just curious if i should feed her maybe every other week rather than every week so she won't be overweight. My vet said he is a little concerned about her weight.

    Hehehe.....cute!

As for the feeding schedule...I think it certainly couldn't hurt in the least to only feed her every other week. But I don't have the experience to offer any direct advice on this one. I'm sure some of our other, more experienced folks will weigh in (no pun intended!) eventually!
