One male to one female
If only breeding one pair, how much time should they be together? Should you just leave them togehter for the whole season, and seperate only at feeding time? Three days in, three out? The only reference I can find is one male to multiple females. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

My first year at breeding i had 1.1 normals.I used the 3 days in and 3 days out and this is when i offered them food.I kept this up until they showed no interest in each other. One will be on each side of the enclosure.I am using this same method right now just added a second female and the male is a pastel. After the male has 3 days alone i place him with female number 2.I hope this helps

Re: One male to one female
Very much. I have one adult male and two females. I will be getting another adult male next week, and I want to pair him with the other female. Then if I am lucky enough to get eggs, they will be cousins and not siblings.
Thanks

Are you going for more pos het albinos? Or just more babies? If you are going for more pos het albinos you really dont need a second male. The breeding of siblings or parents to offspring is how the differant lines of morphs were started.

More babies. The 100% hets won't be ready till next season. The male I'm getting has some great blushing, and I'm using the 50% het male right now. THey are enflagrante' delecto (spelling?) as we speak.
