    Vet trip update

Well I just got back from seeing Dr. Gold.

--ADAM I did tell him you said HI.

She weighs 1302 grams. He said he's glad I brought her in because she is very very conjusted. He told me not many people would keep a sick snake and would send it back or that the seller should have not sold a sick snake to begin with. I told him I liked her and was kind of stuck with her now since I'm not able to ship. Oh well. He gave her a shot there and showed me how to give one. He also told me to soak her for 30-45 minutes daily in warm water to help loosen up her congestion. So I have to give her a shot every 48 hours and let her soak everyday. Said she is gets worse or does not improve to bring her back in. So 47.00 later and now in hopes that she will bounce back to health.

I could/can hear her wheezing (sounds like a little kid with a whistling stuffy nose) and she's been opening up her mouth here and there.

Sounds like you made out pretty well. I'm glad that she's made her way to you.

    Wait, wait....
YOUR vet gave her antibiotic shot... and sent her home with orders to soak, and give shots...
MY vet kept him, tubed him, inserted a tube surgically... I swear... I'm going to have a chat with my vet.
    grrrr...
I think I'm putting someone's kid through college.

    Yup, yup, and yup.

I'd get a different vet if I were you! I've never heard of a herp vet doing that.
