how big are they? Is it usually just you and cady on picture/cleaning days?

The female is around 16' and the albino tiger is around 8-9'. And yep, usually just us. And we couldn't be happier doing it!

Ever have any close calls or anything?

Close calls meaning have I ever been bitten by a big snake? If so, then yep, I've been bitten on occasion. We know what to do in bad situations though. I used to have a 14' Hybrid Anaconda that was basically a chainsaw, and I got it pretty big, probably around 12', of course, I decided to confirm the sex around 14' in length with a few of my friends. I don't know how I managed to be the only one bitten by the snake, but I was But most of the time I just now I will get the occasional leave me alone nip or feeding response thing, tops out at 7', we are extra extra careful with larger snakes, and I'm SUPER extra careful with Cady and large snakes.


But for a little more security in ya, I actually started working with larger snakes fairly young, I used to help with an 18' Green Anaconda as well as some larger retics, but the 18' Green wasn't what you would call a "nice snake" This was all before I actually got my first large snake. So, I don't really know where I was going with that, but I think I had a point.

Nice to have a girlfriend that is supportive of what you do. Mine does, just on a much smaller scale...my BP lol

Yep, I've been wrapped, not by anything bigger than 7' though. Hoping to keep it that way as well! Luckly, she was into snakes on a smaller scale before hand with a ball as well. Just sort of took as we hooked up.

I love the lav and the purple!! I will love to have one! but they get to big if they stay on the 8-10ft I will consideret(sp) good work I think retic are on my top fav large boids!!
