    Smile Simon's House

Hi everybody. This is Simon's 20gal L tank. The top is modified w/ duct tape and foil (thanks to the sticky on this forum! ) I've got two small pieces of plexiglass over the openings that I use for adjusting the humidity. It works great. Simon had a great shed last week; I got the humidity up to 71% w/o any problems. The sides and back are covered w/ contact paper and I added a 1 1/2 inch strip to the front. Funny because he likes to peek over, then duck behind it. Thanks for checkin' it out!

Looks great! Congrats on getting a tank in the right range and on the shed too. That is usually no easy thing.

Thanks, Christie. My husband said I looked like a mad scientist when I was tweaking everything to get it right...

Don't worry. My husband says much worse about me.

Now comes the fun, where you check on it hourly.

Everyone calls me worse names? Probably.

No we affectionately refer to it as a free raging case of OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) with every reptile purchase!!

I'm actually OCD so my father was expecting me to be a lot worse. I just constantly talk about poop, which he finds endlessly funny. I do check all the time though too. I have to check under both hides, even if I find him under the first one, or I get all paranoid.

Yeah, I'm constantly asking my husband: "Hey do you smell something? Do you think he pooped?" He cracks up and just shakes his head...
