    cage mates?

i know i've asked this already but it hit me again a few days ago.since the last time i asked i've kept my BP and blood separate.now everytime i tell someone i have 2 snakes now, they ask me if i keep them both together. i tell them no but then they ask me why.i just give them a simple answer but before i forget again, WHY cant they be together? will they fight?eat each other(i know they wont)?cross breed? territorial? solitary animals? i know they need to be fed separately but i can simply separate them when feeding and put them back together.of course im NOT planning on putting them together anytime soon.

You were right on everything except for two...on occasion, one will eat the other. it is not guaranteed to happen that way, but it can happen. second, i don't think a blood and ball could breed
    lots of snakes

For the same reason you don't keep a toy poodle in a 100 gallon fish tank ... it's just not the right way to keep them.

    1 snake, 1 cage.

    Re: cage mates?

Yes, they can breed together, there are hybrids out there, not many, but theres some out there.

Plus there would be no way to give each snake its own husbandry needs. Bloods and balls have different Temp and Humidity levels that they need to survive.

i thought only kinsnakes could do that.
King snakes and milk snakes are some of the only ones that have a snake DIET, all snakes can eat snakes, not just kings.
