    will she drown?

Hey guys.. my ball is a little constipated (poor lil girl!) so i've been soaking her once a day for like 15 minutes and i put another bowl of water in her tank to help increase the humidity a bit, but i was wondering if i should make sure it's really shallow so she won't drown or do you think she'll be fine if it's about 4" deep? the bowl's small enough for her to easily get out of, and i've placed her in a full large bowl before to soak her and she'll go under water and come back up.. i just want to make sure she won't drown..

Will she drown? Not likely, but no one can give you a guarantee. The bigger issue is that you need to maintain a proper environment and feeding schedule. If these are in place, there is no reason to worry about constipation.

To the OP, how long has it been since your ball has defecated? All balls are different. Some go once a week, others can go for a month without going.

    Re: will she drown?

she used to poop like once a week or every week and a half and its been about 3 weeks. she's been eating normally (about once a week), but i was out of town for a week and she was at a friends place so she was probably a little cold or it wasn't humid enough, so i think that's what happened..

3 weeks is nothing to worry about.

I'm no expert, but my bp didn't poop for the first 5 weeks that I had her.
