I finally managed to snap some pics of this Tokay outside of the cage! She was fiesty, and I payed for these pics with blood lol, but it was worth it! Enjoy!....and thank my fingers for taking the bite

Ok the first pic looks like she is smiling deviously..she has something up her sleve... after the last pic if i were her i'd have bit you too...lol

Great shots though..are they usually that agressive?? They look too sweet.

It's not aggressiveness its defensiveness...and absolutely normal with Tokays.

Imagine Godzilla coming at you with his big mits, I think you'd be a little snappy as well.

Tokays CAN be tamed, it takes a ton of work/time....NERD has a few I saw in Chicago that would lay right in their hands.

The red tokay that NERD has is unbelievable. The Christensen's (wrote the book on day geckos) have a pair of super tame tokay's as well.

Nice pics... one thing I may have noticed is the high flash seems to wash out some colors?
