    Question oversized prey

My mom has been taking care of my BP during my last term at college, because I can't keep him where I live. She gave a f/t "small rat" from Petco, what he usually eats, but this one wasn't so small. And so now there is big bulge in his stomach and he has been sitting in his water dish all the time. I can't really see him either by picture or in person, and I'm kinda worried.

It has been over 48 hrs since he ate. Do I need to do anything, other than not feed him those again?

Brian, Do you think that the appropriate size rodent walks by the ball python that wants to feed in the wild, of course not. its better to feed smaller size meals. but a large meal will not harm it.
