Haha! I hear ya! I was the same way...and still am, even though I've had her for months now. It's especially difficult because she LOOKS normal, but is 100% het caramel....so folks are like "You paid HOW MUCH???" LOL It's really hard to explain why I'm so excited about some silly word like "het."

I actually keep a nice shot of an albino BP handy on the computer so I can say to folks that see our Malachi..."okay he looks like that on the outside but he's sorta like this *flash pic of albino* on the inside" LOL Sort of helps them understand the whole het thing and appreciate his genetic promise.

Hah...I do that, too, Jo. But unless you're a bp enthusiast...I'm afraid my caramel morph is not as exciting as the albino. Although they do nod with a bit more understanding when I tell them that caramels sell for about $6500!
