    Goldfish

My pond goldies. They have no names because I can’t sex them yet. I’m retarded at sexing goldies. They are Ryukins.

    Goldfish A

    Goldfish B

    Goldfish C

The larger of two Shununkins in the pond.

Awesome! I always love seeing fellow goldfish-keepers. Awesome, healthy fish you have there..
I will have to post pics of my tanks; I have one ryukin and a shubunkin, among mostly telescope-eyes and a few commoners. They are the coolest fish out there in my opinion.

Mine are dumber than a box of rocks, but they're sure cute. X3 Which is all that counts. I feed them and take care of them so they don't need to be very witty.

Goldfish C is my favorite out of them all. I have a pearlscale in the pond too now, but no photos. ;_; Have to wait until next year.

I'd love a Tosakin, but I'm told they're rather delicate on top of being really expensive.

Aww, cutie patooties. I have a little outdoor pond I fashioned out of a 60g tub and have about 10 goldfish in it. They range from 9" to 1" and are doing so much better than when they were inside. The tub cycled so much faster too being outside.

My one male fantail is around 9-10", I haven't measured him, but he's a handful of long-flowing-fins and fish. I have an oranda that was black, but has patterns that are slowly changing to white. I also have a Tosakin who is recovering from being in a crappy 20g tank. Fins are filling out and he/she looks very nice. Is under a year though and about 2". There are also a few smaller fantails and orandas that are about an inch to an inch and a half. They are doing very well and eating up a storm.

I'd love to see pictures of your pond!

Agreed. They really started to grow once outside. This pond is a 90 gallon with 6 goldies.

    YOU HAVE A TOSAKIN?!?!?!?!?!?! *Envies*

Here's the pond earlier in the year (never did get the waterfall to work):

    Re: Goldfish

Cool; I wish we could have a pond, but the short season combined with too many other projects, killed that idea for now.. but having them indoors in tanks is also fun.
What are the plans in your pond? I think I know, but I can't remember the name; are they the ones that will get huge if grown in a large lake/pond?

What feed do you two use by the way? I have been using the Hikari and it really seems to bring out their colors better than the cheapo stuff.

There's some water lillies in there and those floating ones are water lettus. These lillies won't get much bigger than they are now.

Agreed. I use Hikari as well. ^^ The cheap crap gives my goldies flipover.

    Re: Goldfish

I'm using Omega One and they just love it. They are quick sinking pellets and are small. Mine get all sorts of fresh veggies, some fruits like banana or kiwi, and they love squash and oranges. Anything to keep them busy.

I'll try to take pictures of my guys soon. The Tosakin's fins are really starting to look better(they were badly frayed while in the tank).
